HOW TO MAKE ICED COFFEE
Making iced coffee at home is easy for those days when it’s too warm to drink it hot, or if you simply prefer your coffee to be ice-cold. Follow this guide for homemade iced coffee and chill out with your favorite brew.
LET'S MAKE IT
What You’ll Need:
- 2/3 Cup Folgers® Coffee Grounds
- Coffee Filter
- Automatic Drip Brewer
- 3 Cups Distilled or Filtered Water
- Heat-Proof Glass Pitcher
- 3 Cups Ice
- Large Spoon
1. ADD GROUNDS
Place a filter in your coffee maker’s brew basket and add 2/3 cup of Folgers® coffee grounds.
Tip: Add more ground coffee to your brewer to account for extra water from the ice
2. ADD WATER & BREW
Add 3 cups of water to your coffee maker’s reservoir. Turn the brewer on.
3. PREP PITCHER
While the brewer is running, add 3 cups of ice to a heat-proof pitcher.
4. CHILL & SERVE
Pour the brewed coffee over the ice in your pitcher. Stir well. Serve over ice.
Tip: Fill your cup, mug, or tumbler at least ¾ of the way with ice, then pour coffee over the ice and stir.
Additional Tip: You can brew your coffee using any other brewing method and simply serve it over ice.
