Fertilize Your Garden 
Even plants love Folgers®. Simply dilute your leftover coffee grounds with four parts cool water and pour the mixture over your plants once every other week. You can also use the grounds as compost with other organic kitchen waste.

Scuffs and scratches on wooden furniture can be disguised by making a paste with coffee grounds and water and rubbing the mixture over the marks. Easy and inexpensive.

Cleaning out your wood-burning fireplace can be a messy, dusty task. But if you toss your old coffee grounds over the ashes, you can reduce the amount of dust that escapes as you clean.

How to Recycle Coffee Pods

Step 1 
Starting at the puncture made by your coffee maker, peel off the lid and dispose.

Step 2
Compost or dispose of the coffee grounds.

Step 3
Recycle* according to local standards. *Not recycled in many communities.

Pro Tip: An Alternative to Recycling
Try reusable coffee pods. Just add your favorite Folgers ground coffee  to create your very own single-serve coffee pod. Clean it out once your coffee has brewed and it’s ready for next time…and every time after that.

You can recycle Folgers coffee containers, which are made with the same materials found in most juice containers and milk jugs. But they also make great planters. Use old coffee grounds as fertilizer and see what blooms.
